This policy assists the residential home to ensure the prevention of the occurrence and transmission of infections through the upkeep and monitoring of the water system and identifying and removing the conditions necessary for bacteria to grow. Through this procedure, residents who have a waterborne infection are educated regarding their condition and are treated in a manner that respects their dignity.
