This policy ensures that, where possible, the residential home has a record of a nominated person for each resident with whom the residential home shall contact with specific types and amounts of information regarding the resident.
This policy has been updated to incorporate HIQA & MHC National Standards for Adult Safeguarding and HIQA and Safeguarding Ireland’s Guidance on a Human Rights-based Approach in Health and Social Care Services and the ‘HSE National Consent Policy Version 1.0’.
